The essence of humble, L. Fahn R. typically works with found objects or repurposes plastic and construction materials. Her thoughtful brushstrokes and intricate patterns demonstrate her preference for the artistic craft over commodity.
Curated by her proud children (Fawn & Rose Gallery), “Humble” represents an homage to the artist's work, spanning over 50 years. The show features L. Fahn R.'s reverse-plastic acrylic paintings and cut paper sculptures. Viewers will observe the inspiration she has received from architecture, the human form, nature, and a diversity of cultures.
L. Fahn R. has been an active contributor to the Lynn, MA art scene as a resident artist, critique group leader, gallery show hanger, and teacher for gifted and talented students.
